Head of Product & Experience J.P. Morgan Wealth Management

Sam is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (~$882 billion AUS and ~5,400 advisors). As Head of Product & Experience, he is responsible for delivering quality client, advisor and field-facing products through simple, intuitive and connected experiences. He sets the strategy and prioritization for products and drives outcomes across the portfolio.

Prior to his current role, as the Head of Digital Planning and Advice, Sam led the initial build, end-to-end delivery and P&L objectives of Wealth Plan – a digital money coach that puts the power of financial planning directly in the hands of our clients. Wealth Plan is the first time a major firm releases a suite of collaborative planning tools for both clients and advisors, now available to 54 million Chase customers.

Previously Sam was the Head of Strategy, responsible for identifying and executing the opportunities to drive growth, profitability and health of the business.

In 2019, Sam was one of the principal architects of the firm’s new wealth management strategy, and member of the senior team which set up the new J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business that combines the digital, remote advice, branch based and wirehouse channels.

In his previous role, Sam oversaw the direct-to-consumer investment business with its quarter million clients and led strategy for the branch-based investment business ($300 billion AUM, 1.5 million households). As the chair of Diversity and Inclusion programs, Sam led the team that built and managed the Advisor Development Program.

Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Sam spent 10 years at McKinsey and Company serving leading retail banks and wealth management firms across the U.S. and Europe. He advised executives on topics ranging from salesforce transformations and end-to-end business transformations, to building service-to-sales models and standing up new remote advice channels. He also led the McKinsey affluent consumer research.

During a three-year break from McKinsey, Sam was a professional actor and a TV host.

In his free time, Sam enjoys kitesurfing, skiing and sailing, and is an avid musician and DJ. He is bilingual in Polish. Sam graduated from Harvard University with a degree in economics and a minor in computer science.
