Melissa Carmichael is the Vice President of Strategy & Innovation at Bremer Bank, a privately held, $12.0 billion regional financial services company jointly owned by the Otto Bremer Trust and Bremer employees. Melissa is a member of the Strategy Team and is responsible for driving the innovation mandate by: building Bremer’s engagement within both the FinTech and AgTech ecosystems both locally and on the coasts; executing partnerships aligned to strategic business priorities; and staying ahead of external trends and sharing this acquired knowledge with internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to joining Bremer Bank she spent 10+ years working with early stage tech companies both in the development of, and the execution of strategic growth initiatives including M&A, diversification and market expansion. Melissa received a B.A degree in Professional Strategic Communication from the University of Minnesota.
