Jonny Leweke is a UX and Digital Product, User Experience, and Software Development leader with nearly 20 years of experience shaping intuitive, inclusive, and scalable digital experiences in highly regulated industries. He specializes in helping organizations modernize platforms, improve accessibility and scalability, and deliver measurable business results.
As Vice President of User Experience, Digital Analytics, and Application Development at VyStar Credit Union, Jonny built and leads a cross-functional team including: UX, Product, Analytics, Accessibility, and Front-end Development for one of the nation’s largest credit unions. His leadership has driven award-winning results and industry recognition, including user-centered design, personalized digital experiences, content management, AI-powered tools, financial calculators, and enterprise design systems.
Previously, Jonny advanced digital strategies and improved customer and B2B experiences for Fortune 500 companies, holding leadership roles at Citi, CACI, TeamCare, and Panduit Corp. His work has consistently centered on human-centered design, data-driven decision-making, and building strong, collaborative teams that deliver impact.
Jonny is passionate about creating digital products that are both innovative and accessible, balancing user needs with business goals. He brings a proven track record in executive leadership, user-centered strategy, and vendor negotiations, managing multimillion-dollar budgets while pushing organizations toward digital maturity.
After spending time in Salt Lake City, Jacksonville, and Chicago, he’s now settled in Jacksonville’s Historic District (Avondale) with his lively family of 4.5—including a 9-year-old daughter, a 7-year-old son, and a 13-year old Cockapoo. Most of their days revolve around baseball, dance, and supporting his wife’s new dance studio, Green Room Collective.
As of 2022, 78% of adults prefer banking via mobile app or website, compared to 29% preferring to visit a branch. As a result, bank leaders must rethink how and when customers interact with branches, agents, and ATMs to deliver a seamless experience across channels.
