Jason Coots

Jason Coots is a financial services marketing leader with nearly 20 years of experience driving growth, customer acquisition, and digital transformation across banking, investments, and wealth management. He began his career at American Century Investments, where he built deep expertise in direct marketing and client acquisition for one of the country’s established mutual fund firms.

Jason later played a key role in scaling one of the industry’s early online direct banks, EverBank, where he spent eight years leading marketing for deposit and mortgage growth, as well as customer satisfaction initiatives. He went on to TIAA-CREF, where he helped build and expand the direct bank marketing function at TIAA Direct, before leading marketing for a national financial advisory business supporting more than 1,600 advisors and their clients.

Today, as CMO of Battle Bank, Jason brings deep experience in launching and scaling digital banking propositions, aligning customer insight with execution, and building brands designed for modern financial consumers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri.
