Candace Washington

Candace Washington, serving as the Vice President of Member Engagement of OnPath Federal Credit Union, oversees the marketing, business development, and community outreach efforts at the credit union. Nine years ago, she commenced her journey with the credit union in a marketing capacity, subsequently spearheading the transformation of the 61-year-old ASI Federal Credit Union into OnPath FCU in 2019. Today, as a part of senior leadership, Candace oversees branding, growth, and member experience initiatives for the credit union.

With more than twenty years of expertise spanning marketing, communications, and philanthropic development, Candace has collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the Second Harvest Food Bank and the United Way of the greater New Orleans area. Additionally, she fulfills the role of President at the OnPath Foundation, where she directs initiatives focused on advancing education, homeownership, and entrepreneurship.

Recognized as a "Woman to Watch" by Biz New Orleans in 2022, Candace is also an alumna of the Leadership Jefferson Class of 2022. She earned her degrees in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, followed by an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from Capella University.

Beyond her professional commitments, Candace, alongside her husband Trent, parents five children aged 18 to 27.
